The call for technical paper has ended. Thank you for your participation!
Final decisions on participation in the oral or poster presentation and assigned session for approved papers/final abstracts will rest with the Technical Committee.
All accepted papers/final abstracts, for which at least one author has registered for the conference, will appear in the published proceedings of the conference. For each submission, the names of three (3) potential reviewers, who are recognised in the area of research, must be provided. Authors and co-authors cannot be reviewers of their article. The Technical Committee will also choose and contact reviewers. The Technical papers will be reviewed based on clarity, technical merit, and relevance to the conference. If the reviewing team believes that revisions are necessary, online comments will be provided with revised papers being due by March 1, 2022. Authors of approved papers will then be contacted by the Technical Committee if their submission was selected for the oral or poster presentation.
Should you have any questions with regards to the article reviewing process, please contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org

While we are planning for a great in-person conference experience for our delegates, we do understand that sanitary restrictions by the Quebec government may restrict the number of delegates at the venue and that travelling to Quebec may not be possible for some. To accommodate this portion of the geoscience community, the organizing committee is pleased to offer virtual delegate registration options. This will also allow us to broadcast the conference to a larger group, reach members of the community that cannot join the conference in person, and contribute to a lower carbon footprint, all the while helping us adjust to the Covid-19 situation.
We encourage all authors to register in-person. We understand that for some authors, traveling to Québec may not be possible. To accommodate, authors with virtual registration selected for an oral presentation by the technical committee will be able to present virtually. While creating the conference program, the technical committee will favor authors with in-person registration.
Full details will be given along with the detailed conference program.
